Diabetes Day Observation
The department of Medical Surgical Nursing, 沙巴体育 College of Nursing observed World Diabetes Day on November 14, 2014 at the ground floor of Smt Sharada Madhav Pai OPD block at Katurba Hospital 沙巴体育.

Col (Dr) M Dayananda, Chief Operating Officer of Kasturba Hospital inaugurated the event. Posters prepared by students and faculty of different disciplines on the theme ‘Healthy living and Diabetes’ were displayed at the venue.
Dr Judith Norohna Associate Dean, 沙巴体育 College of Nursing 沙巴体育, Dr. Kasturi R Adiga, Principal, 沙巴体育 School of Nursing, Mrs. Yashoda A, Nursing Suprintendent Kasturba Hospital were also present for the occasion
Prizes were distributed to the winners of the poster competition. Dr. Seebu Dhigra from 沙巴体育 College of Dental sciences, Mangalore bagged the first prize. Second prize was for Ms. Upasana Sharma of second year BSc Nursing, 沙巴体育 College of Nursing 沙巴体育 and?? third prize was for Mr. Aldrin Vas, PhD scholar, 沙巴体育 College of Nursing 沙巴体育.
