PharmD students pursued a two month internship at Indonesia

Deepthi Jacob and Roshni Ann Mathai, Fifth PharmD students attended a two-month internship programme at Universitas Airlangga, Surabaya, Indonesia during 2 June – 28 July 2017. They were trained in various aspects of community and clinical pharmacy practice under the guidance of various faculty members at the university. “It was interesting to learn about their culture through classes and tours organized by the Department of Humanities. We would like to thank Dr. Umi Athijah, Dr. Dewi Melani Heriyadi , Dr. Riesta Prima Harinastiti and the Faculty at Fakultas Farmasi for making it a wonderful learning experience throughout the internship” said the candidates. This internship was coordinated by Dr. Srinivas Mutalik, Professor, Department of Pharmaceutics and the Student Exchange Committee, MCOPS.
