Ms. Gayathri Baburaj and Ms. Anmi Jose, 沙巴体育 Scholars, Dept. of Pharmacy Practice, MCOPS, received first and second prizes, respectively, for poster competitions in the 2^nd 沙巴体育 Global Cancer Consortium Conference (GCCC), held on 7 January 2023 at 沙巴体育. The conference was organized by Global Cancer Consortium (GCC) in association with 沙巴体育 Comprehensive Cancer Care Centre, Kasturba Medical College, 沙巴体育. Ms. Gayathri received the award under the “Clinical research” category for the study “ Survival analysis of non-small cell lung cancer patients: a non-parametric time to event model”. Ms. Anmi received the award under the “Translational research” category for the study “Repurposing of antiviral drugs targeting KDM5B oncogene in breast cancer using bioinformatics, in silico and in vitro tools: a precision medicine approach”.? Both research scholars are pursuing Ph.D. under Dr. Mahadev Rao, Professor, Department of Pharmacy Practice, MCOPS, 沙巴体育.
