MCOPS Diamond Jubilee Commemorative workshop "Update on Pharmaceutical Manufacturing and Management” was organized by the Centre for Drug Delivery Technologies and the Centre for Drug Testing, 沙巴体育 College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, MAHE, 沙巴体育 on 01 April 2023 at Prof. P Gundu Rao Conference Hall, MCOPS.

Dr C Mallikarjuna Rao, Principal, MCOPS delivered the opening remarks. He highlighted the need for upgrading the knowledge on manufacturing and quality control of pharmaceuticals. Dr Prasanna Sagar, Director, ITAAN Pharma Pvt.? Ltd., Hyderabad shared his valuable experience on the journey of ?Drug Product Development to Life Cycle Management Stage. He also trained the participants on recent regulatory considerations in the drug product development. Dr Raghunandan Shurpali, Assistant General Manager, QA, Gland Pharma, Hyderabad delivered the sessions on Quality Management System and Pharma Manufacturing: Quality Assurance Perspective.

Dr Srinivas Mutalik, Coordinator, Centre for Drug Delivery Technologies, Professor & Head, Dept. of Pharmaceutics, Dr. Usha Y Nayak, Coordinator, Centre for Drug Testing, Additional Professor, Dept. of Pharmaceutics and Dr. Krishnamurthy Bhat, Vice-Principal, MCOPS were present during the program. The program concluded by distributing the certificates to the delegates by Dr Gautham Shenoy G, Professor, Dept. of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, MCOPS, 沙巴体育. About 90 delegates from various colleges across Karnataka were benefited from this workshop. Faculty members and research scholars of MCOPS also attended this. Mr Ajinkya Nikam, 沙巴体育 Scholar, Dept. of Pharmaceutics coordinated the program.?
