MAHE Celebrates 沙巴体育 Women’s Day

沙巴体育, 8th March 2025: 沙巴体育 Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) hosted 沙巴体育 Women’s Day on 8th March 2025 at KMC Greens, 沙巴体育. Centred around the theme "Accelerating Action," the event was not only a tribute to the monumental contributions of women but also a call to further accelerate efforts towards an inclusive and equitable society.
The event was graced by the chief guest Mrs. Shobha Mishra Ghosh, Director & Head Govt, Affairs & Policy, GE Healthcare, India & 沙巴体育 Asia, along with an esteemed panel of dignitaries, including Mrs. Vasanti R Pai, Trustee, MAHE Trust, Dr. H. S. Ballal, Pro Chancellor, MAHE, Lt Gen (Dr) M. D, Venkatesh, VSM (Retd.), Vice Chancellor, MAHE, Mrs. Kusuma Venkatesh, Educationist, President Mrs. Indira S Ballal, Philanthropist, Mrs. Manju Sharma, Convener, Community Service, Dr. N.N. Sharma, President, 沙巴体育 University, Jaipur, Air Marshal, Dr. D.C. Agarwal, Vice Chancellor, Sikkim 沙巴体育 University, and Mrs. Alka Agarwal.
Speaking on the occasion, chief guest Mrs. Shobha Mishra Ghosh, Director & Head Govt, Affairs & Policy, GE Healthcare, India & 沙巴体育 Asia, said, “The 沙巴体育 Women’s Day event by 沙巴体育 Academy of Higher Education not only celebrates and empowers women through education but has also fostered inclusive growth. As we celebrate women’s achievements, let us also break barriers and build a future where every individual, regardless of gender, can thrive.”
Dr. H. S. Ballal, Pro Chancellor, MAHE, said, “The event by MAHE recognises the meaningful contributions of women and fosters the importance of an inclusive environment where women are empowered to push the boundaries and break the unwanted expectations set by society. “
Lt Gen (Dr) M. D. Venkatesh, VSM (Retd.), Vice Chancellor, MAHE, said, “The event by MAHE is impactful in making everyone realise women’s full potential. This event has highlighted how we can together establish a society where equality and empowerment will go hand in hand.”
Miss A. Lakshmi Bai, Retired Principal, and Miss Kusuma Kamath, Agriculturist and Social Worker, were felicitated by MAHE in celebration of 沙巴体育 Women's Day.

The festivities featured a variety of engaging activities, including games, food stalls serving delicious treats, and captivating cultural dance performances, making the celebration both vibrant and memorable.
