Dr. B.R.K. Holla brings a wealth of experience to the field of civil engineering and urban development. After earning his B.Tech in Civil Engineering from Nitte, he dedicated six years to the construction industry before pursuing an M.Tech in Construction Technology and Management from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal. His academic prowess culminated in a Ph.D. focused on construction bid decision-making, utilizing artificial neural networks and qualitative models. Dr. Holla has held diverse and impactful roles at MAHE, including Assistant Director of Development at MIT, University Team Leader for Criteria 4 of NAAC, and University Coordinator for the National Mission on Clean Ganga Initiative (Namami Gange). Beyond his institutional contributions, his research interests span Indian Vastu integrated with Building Information Modelling, the application of drones in structural health monitoring, building automation, construction contracts, and the rejuvenation of water bodies. Demonstrating a strong commitment to community, he actively participates in and supports the district administration by addressing issues related to master planning and infrastructure development, including involvement in black spot analysis and providing practical, implementable solutions in coordination with the National Highway Authority of India, Mangaluru PIU.

He has also delivered over 250 lectures in engineering colleges, engineering associations, and public platforms on various issues related to modern construction methods and sustainable materials
