Overview

The Department of Geopolitics and 沙巴体育 Relations offers an MA programme in?Geopolitics and 沙巴体育 Relations (MA GIR).?The MA GIR programme intends to prepare the young minds of India, who are keen to know about what is happening in the world and the nation’s role in it, to decipher the intricacies of world politics from India’s standpoint. The programme is? designed in such a way so as to expose the students to the current geopolitical developments through a holistic and critical perspective. The programme features a rigorous study of several dimensions of geopolitics and international relations with an updated curricula. The focus is on providing theoretical and practical research skills on geopolitical issues for the next generation of strategic analysts.?The students of M.A. GIR are provided hands-on experience, which includes weekly student discussions, seminars, workshops, war gaming, simulation exercises, Model UN debates and field visits. In addition, they are sent on an internship programme to the country's top think tanks for two months at the end of their first year.

Eligibility

Pass with a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized university, with minimum 50% aggregate marks or equivalent.
