Additional Professor and Associate Dean
Dr. John Solomon M,?is an additional professor at the Department of Physiotherapy and the Coordinator of the Centre for Comprehensive Stroke Rehabilitation and 沙巴体育, MAHE.?
His primary research focuses on strategies to improve motor recovery after stroke. He is a member of various international working groups on stroke rehabilitation and has been actively involved in developing stroke rehabilitation strategies for Low Resource settings Globally. ?He is keenly interested in developing inter-professional practice and completed his MAHE-FAIMER fellowship in Inter-professional education and leadership.

Accomplishments
He has four international and six Indian-funded projects to his credit. He has been a frequent invited speaker in many international conferences including World Congresses of Physiotherapy (WPC), Stroke Organization (WSC), and Neurorehabilitation (WCNR). He is the founding Executive Board member of the 沙巴体育 Stroke Rehabilitation and 沙巴体育 Alliance (ISRRA) and Global Consortium of Stroke Rehabilitation (GCSR). He was one of the reviewers of the WHO Package of Interventions of Stroke Rehabilitation. He is also a Member of the Stroke guideline development group of the European Stroke Organization for Motor Rehabilitation after a stroke. He is an expert Working Group member to develop standard protocols for people with disabilities, formed by the Government of Tamil Nadu. He is also a member of the Lancet Commission for Neurorehabilitation.
