2. MESSING ARRANGEMENTS

Q.1. What are the Messing arrangements ? How far is the Mess located from the Hostel ?

Ans: ?Chef On Wheels (ISO 22000) company is the catering company. 2 Food Courts & 5 Messes are running inside the Campus.

Q.2? Is the Dining in Messes mandatory ? How often can the Mess be changed?

Ans: ?Dining in? the? Messes is mandatory in the 1^st Year . Mess can be changed once a month after seeking permission from the Chief Warden .

3.? FACILITIES/ BANKING / DISCIPLINE

24x7 Electricity , water , solar heated water , Wi Fi , indoor games , swimming pool in campus.

Q.1 What linen is provided by the college ? Do I have to get bed sheets, bedcovers & pillow covers ? Are Buckets and Mugs provided? or required to be procured by the students.

Q.2 What are the Banking Facilities in the Campus ?

Ans: One Bank ( Canara Bank) and 4 ATMs are? in the Campus . Many other Banks are available within 1 Km radius . (SBI, ICICI, HDFC, AXIS)

Q.3 What exactly is the SBI Combo Card ?

Ans:? A multi purpose ATM cum Identification card issued to all students of the University .

Q.4 Are students permitted to use cell phones in the hostel ? If yes what is the procedure for obtaining a local SIM?

Ans : Local Sim can be obtained from local vendors after getting a local address Certificate from the CW office.

Q.5 What is the dress code for students in the hostel and also for Mess ?

Ans: Laid down in the MAHE Rules

?Q.6 ?When the student proceeds on leave at the end of the term is there a provision of leaving behind heavy luggage in the College Luggage Room ?

Ans:Yes

Q.7 ?What is the washing arrangements for clothes in the hostel ? Are there washing machines in the hostel.

Ans: Dhobis and cobblers are available daily at the Hostels.

4. MEDICAL

Q.1 What are the arrangements for medical aid in case the student falls sick ?

Ans : First Aid Box is available in the Hostels . Students Clinic is operative in the Kasturba Hospital. Truama and Emergency Ward of the hospital is functional 24 x 7. ?(Distance 1 km)

- Ambulance vehicle? is available at 24 x 7 inside campus.
