Hailing from Parkala near 沙巴体育, Dr. Raghavendra obtained his Graduation and Post-Graduation degree in Mechanical Engineering in the year 2001 and 2003 respectively from 沙巴体育 Institute of Technology, 沙巴体育. He started his career as a Production Engineer at 沙巴体育 Technologies Limited, 沙巴体育 in the year 2003 and joined 沙巴体育 Institute of Technology (MIT) as a faculty member in the Department of Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering in the year 2005. Dr. Raghavendra obtained his PhD from MAHE, 沙巴体育 in the area of Manufacturing Engineering in 2014. His teaching and research efforts are focused in the area of Manufacturing, Process Optimization and Issues Related to Design and Manufacturing. He has over 17 years of experience in teaching, research, and administration. He has successfully completed his tenure as Deputy Registrar Administration at MAHE 沙巴体育.?

Since 2005, he has served the Organization in various capacities. Dr. Raghavendra has served MIT, 沙巴体育 as the Assistant Director-Academics from 2015 to 2019. He was a key member of the team instrumental in implementation of the Student Life Cycle Management System at MIT 沙巴体育. He was one of the members of the team constituted by MAHE for preparation of the application for Institution of Eminence (IoE) and he was the Nodal Officer of MAHE for Institution of Eminence. Apart from teaching and research, he has served as faculty advisor and sports advisor of various student clubs of MIT, 沙巴体育.

Dr. Raghavendra has published and presented several research articles in reputed national and international journals and conferences. With his passion in teaching and commitment in research he has been awarded with Best Teacher Award in Mechanical Engineering stream in 2012 and has received best paper awards at various forums. He is a life member of Indian Society for Technical Education. Dr. Raghavendra is a good sportsperson with special interest in cricket, football, badminton and athletics.
