- Encourages student learning and discussion and conducts video demonstration of Head and Neck for MBBS students
- Sets question papers, invigilates theory examinations and conducts practical examinations
- Guides undergraduates and postgraduates in their research activities
- Is an AHA certified Basic Life Support (BLS) provider and trains students, faculty and community in BLS
- AETCOM coordinator for Phase 1 undergraduate students
- Actively involved in imparting knowledge of Bioethics to undergraduate students and faculty through various workshops
- Teacher guardian for MBBS students and supervise their teaching & learning activities
- Actively involved in departmental and institutional academic activities

As age progresses, the size of important structures of brain (such as subcortical nuclei, ventricular system) changes. These changes will help neurosurgeons & neurologists in early detection of degenerative diseases and treat accordingly. Apart from this, the size of these structures prove crucial in medico-legal cases where determination of age may be unreliable by conventional methods. Therefore, this radiological study aims to analyse the correlation between the age of the person and size of various subcortical nuclei. (Funding agency: ICMR)
